Important web sites, accommodation rules and other information
Faults which you make or find, report at fault system. The earlier the fault is reported, the earlier it can be fixed (usually within 2 days).
Smoking in public areas, Interruption of nightly rest, etc. is a direct violation of the rules of the dormitory, which may lead to get ban on the primary membership or, in the extreme case, termination of the accommodation contract. Penalties for violation of house rules SUZ or regulation SH consists of the following points:
1) warning
2) ban on primary membership in the club SH
3) a request for a conditional exclusion from dormitory SUZ

The linen change takes place during the academic year every two weeks, if you do not have the free time leave linen with you dormitory card on the gatekeeper..

Information for novices on block 4
You can find clear information for novices on the page [http://wiki.siliconhill.cz/Novacek].
Networks problems send to email admin4@sh.cvut.cz. Message will be sent to all registrars and also to network admin.
Some of important points you can find bellow.
How to connect to the Internet
1) Fill in the online pre-registration form before visiting registrar. - pre-registration
2) Fill in and sign an application form for membership of the CTU Student Union (paper form - available from registrars).
3) Take following items and visit a registrator:
All devices you want to connect to the Internet (laptop, mobile phone, tablet, ...).
The form from step two.
Student card (ISIC, CTU) or ID card.
Connection limit is three devices on wifi and one on cable.
Rules of the site
You are NOT allowed to have your own access points or another network devices (switches, routers etc).
Internet sharing to friend or roomate, who is not connected to internet is not allowed.
It is forbidden to download and shared ilegal software especially torrents.
Nevertheless, if you want to test automatic recognition system you should read Punishments_-_ENGLISH_VERSION on our WIKI.
Network configuration for using WiFi connection
You can find on Wifi page what setting is neccessary for set up on you laptop.
When your network card supports 5 GHz, use it.
Block is comletely covered by Aruba WiFi.
When you have any problem, you can contact us by writing an email to admin4@sh.cvut.cz.
Registration a new device to the network
For registration to the network it is neccessary to personally visit registrat. Bring your device with you.
Firstly, before you visit registrar, try to find what is your wifi od cable card’s MAC adress.
Entrance to the study room and adding card for the block gym
For access to the study room or to the block gym you have to personally visit registrat.
Take your isic or host card (students from another school then CTU) with you.
Host card is possible to get on block 1. For more information contact us on email or visit us personally.
Moving to another room
For move person in the system is neccessary personally visit registrar or write an email to admin4@sh.cvut.cz.
You should know number of your new room and who is you new room-mate!
Equipment of a block and interesting rooms
For borrowing any equipment or a room it is important to make a reservation and then contact room manager, so you can get the keyes or equipment you asked for. (write an email, contact him/her personaly,...).
Block gym

How to gain access to block gym:
- 1. If you aren't registered in Silicon Hill club yet visit a registrar. (access requires basic membership)
- 2. Visit your Silicon Hill account and check if you have filled the 6-digit CTU personal number (placed on your CTU card).
- 3. Contact block gym administrator, who can assign you the access to your IS account
- 4. For entrance use your CTU card only (any other card is not working).
- 4. Read Rules before entering and follow them.
Only students and employees of CTU can be registered. Non students, CTU absolvents, non-CTU students, non-CTU absolvents cannot be registered.
- Gym is monitored by a camera system.
- Violation of any rule may lead to a ban.
- Access to the block gym applies to any other block gym in Strahov.
Bike room [S120]
Location: cellar north

Information:
- It is neccessary to create reservation for borrow the key from the room. After that agree with administrator when he will have time to meet.
- In the Bike room it is possible to keep your bike. Capacity is 12 bikes. Every bike have to be locked with the bike lock.
- It is possible to borrow a bike when you don't have your own, just contact administrator.

- Party room for events (social events, free time activity etc.).
- Reservation must be made 24 hours before event and it lasts maximum for 48 hours.

How to make a reservation
1) Choose a date in table bellow
2) Room manager will send you an email with informations about your reservation (with an information about time you can get the keys, ect.)
3) Visiot the room manager in time he wrote you in email to get a key, he will ask dorm card from you.
It is important to make a reservation as soon as possible, so room manager can give you a respond.
